Garden of Health Community Farm

Garden of Health Food Bank, Inc

Our Hatfield Farm exists to help feed our community in need. All produce harvested goes to our over 60 partner organizations - made possible because of our dedicated volunteers! What tasks do volunteers help with? Depending on the time of year you may be planting, weeding, picking, watering, and other gardening jobs. A representative from Garden of Health Food Bank will be on site to help get you started. What do I need to bring? Depending on weather, be prepared with sunscreen, hat and water. You will be working in the sun. Also, bring gardening gloves, wear boots or sneakers (no open-toe shoes or sandals) and clothing you don't mind getting dirty Directions: 500 Fairgrounds Rd, Hatfield PA 19440. You will park in the park parking lot and walk over to the farm entrance Minors: Children under 16 are allowed to volunteer if accompanied by a parent and they can behave. We have the right to ask a parent and child to leave if the child is not behaving. Contact us with questions or to schedule a volunteering time not listed for your community group or company. Thank you!

Pantry Distribution Days
Pantry Distribution Days

Garden of Health Food Bank, Inc

According to a new Gallop Poll 26% or 1 in 4 Americans are struggling to put food on their table! Help us supply food to upwards of 60 pantries over 2 days. Volunteers help with setting up, informing the pantries how much of each items they can have, where to find items, helping them get certain cold items, and helping with loading their cars if they need it. Pantries can leave our warehouse with upwards of 2000 pounds of food which could include eggs, milk, cheese, meat, produce and shelf stable items. Several of them have mentioned to us that without these distributions their doors would be closed! At a time where hunger is on the rise donations have declined of the past several years by about 50%.
